Spa Day with Olie Biologique: You’ve Got Male

Okay, so maybe it wasn’t a full spa day, but I did spend a lovely afternoon with the ladies behind Olìe Biologique at their recent trunk show at Equinox. This brand (pronounced “Oh-lee Bee-oh-loh-jeek”) is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
Founder Linda Thompson (left) is a true meeting of brains, talent, and taste. A graduate of Harvard Business School and seasoned marketing exec, Linda became frustrated with problem skin as a result of constant travel for work. She quickly became versed in the benefits of essential oils and recently launched her first proprietary blend, 004 Huile Moderne. If you haven’t tried using a face oil as a moisturizer yet, you must. Don’t be afraid! The oil absorbs into skin immediately, leaving no residue or overpowering fragrance. This particular blend also battles the signs of aging and delivers lasting hydration.
During yesterday’s short reprieve from work, I had the pleasure of getting a mini facial while at the Equinox Spa. The aesthetician used Organic Male products (which I had never seen before, but loved!) and Huile Moderne. Let me just say that my skin felt and looked amazing when the facial was done. Afterwards, I chatted with the Olìe team. I can’t give anything away, but I will say that you should keep an eye on this brand!
